Terms and conditions
On confirmation of your booking request a deposit of 30% of the holiday price. This can be paid by bank transfer or on credit card. The final balance will be due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. If you are booking within 2 weeks of arrival full payment is required immediately. No contract shall exist between Chalet Everest and yourself until the deposit payment is received.
If full payment for your holiday has not been received 2 weeks before your arrival, your holiday will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded. You will be informed in writing in this case.
If you wish to cancel your holiday with Chalet Everest, this must be received in writing and we advise that you let us know as soon as possible. The following cancellation charges will be levied:
Up to 2 weeks before arrival - your deposit
Under 2 weeks before arrival - 100% of holiday cost
Your room will be available after 2pm on the day of your arrival, and we require the room to be vacated by 11am on the day of your departure. In the event of early arrival arrangements can be made to store your luggage.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct level of cover for your holiday and any snowsports that you wish to engage in. We also advise that your insurance policy covers any loss or theft of personal belongings.
All customers are expected to behave in an appropriate manner whilst staying in Chalet Everest. If any behaviour threatens the enjoyment of any other guest, or damage to the chalet we reserve the right to terminate the offender's accommodation. In addition the offender will be responsible for the cost of any damage caused.
Please be aware that the Chalet Everest operates a no smoking policy.
